What kind of chaps should I order?
Most cutting horse people wear batwings. They fasten with 3 buckles around the legs and are loose at the bottom.Along with the fringed edge, there is flair that creatres a lot of action while showing. Shotguns fasten with a full length zipper, so they are tight around the leg.
What color of chaps should I order? Things you may want to consider are the color of your saddle, your horse etc. Most people select the medium to lighter colors, as they contrast wth most color horses. View color samples |

What kind of tooling should I order?
If your are after a more "Custom" appearance you should consider the Filagree tooling. Else you may select the oakleaf or basket weave tooling that more closely matches the tooling of your show saddle. |

What kind of hardware should I order? If your are after a more "Custom" appearance you should consider one the sets of hand-made hardware such as the Barbwire or Floral patterns. Else you may want to select the Floral Overlay. |

Are there other concerns I should know about?
Before I build your chaps, I will need to talk with you and go over your order. I want you to be happy with your chaps. I do not want mistakes. I want you to know & understand what you are getting. |
